Master’s လျှောက်မယ်ဆို Bachelor Degree ရှိရပါမယ်။ PhD လျှောက်မယ်ဆို Master’s Degree ရှိရပါမယ်။ Research မှာတော့ Postdoctoral applicant ဆို Doctoral Degree လိုပြီး၊ Exchange Professor ဆို Master’s Degree + လက်ရှိ academic professor ဖြစ်ဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ Professional research program ဆို Education, Science, Culture, International Cooperation နယ်ပယ်တွေမှာ professional ဖြစ်ရပါတယ်။ 2026 cycle အတွက် expected graduate လည်း လျှောက်နိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် July 31, 2026 မတိုင်ခင် degree ရပြီး final graduation certificate + transcript ကို NIIED တင်ရပါတယ်။ မတင်နိုင်ရင် acceptance cancel ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ GPA ဘယ်လောက်လိုလဲ? GKS-U နဲ့တူပါတယ်။ Previous degree ရဲ့ overall CGPA က အောက်က minimum တစ်ခုခု ပြည့်ရပါမယ်။ Scale Minimum 100-point 80%+ Class ranking Top 20% 4.0 2.64+ 4.3 2.80+ 4.5 2.91+ 5.0 3.23+ Master လျှောက်ရင် Bachelor GPA ကို အဓိကကြည့်ပါတယ်။ PhD လျှောက်ရင် Master’s GPA ကို previous degree အနေနဲ့ စစ်ပါတယ်။ Transcript မှာ ဒီ accepted scale မပါဘူးဆိုရင် university က officially confirm လုပ်ထားတဲ့ converted transcript လိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Online conversion tool တစ်ခုတည်း print ထုတ်လိုက်တာမျိုး မလုံလောက်ပါဘူး။ အရေးကြီးတာက 80% ပြည့်တာဟာ scholarship ရပြီဆိုတာမဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ Minimum eligibility ပြည့်တာပဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အသက်ကရော? 2026 GKS-G အတွက် ပုံမှန် applicant က အသက် 40 နှစ်အောက် — born after September 1, 1986 ဖြစ်ရပါတယ်။ ODA recipient country က current academic professor ဖြစ်ရင် အသက် 45 နှစ်အောက် — born after September 1, 1981 အထိ exception ရှိပါတယ်။ Myanmar က ODA recipient list ထဲ ပါပါတယ်။ ဒီ birth-date cutoff က 2026-specific ပါ။ နောက်နှစ်လျှောက်မယ်ဆို နောက်နှစ် guideline ကို ပြန်ကြည့်ရပါတယ်။ Nationality Requirement Applicant က NIIED designated country citizen ဖြစ်ရပြီး applicant နဲ့ parents/legal guardians တွေမှာ Korean citizenship မရှိရပါဘူး။ Korean + another nationality ဆိုတဲ့ dual citizenship case လည်း eligibility မပြည့်ပါဘူး။ အရင် Korean citizenship ရှိခဲ့ဖူးသူဆို official renunciation document လိုပါတယ်။ GKS-G မှာ Track ဘယ်နှမျိုးရှိလဲ? ဒီအပိုင်းက GKS-U ထက် အနည်းငယ်ရှုပ်ပါတယ်။ Embassy Track Korean Embassy ကတစ်ဆင့် လျှောက်တာပါ။ 2026 မှာ Embassy Track quota စုစုပေါင်း 800 ရှိပြီး General 776 + Overseas Korean/Adoptee 24 ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Embassy Track applicant ဆို University ၃ ကျောင်းအထိ ရွေးနိုင်ပြီး Type A/Type B နှစ်မျိုးစလုံးထဲက ရွေးလို့ရပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် အနည်းဆုံး Type B University တစ်ကျောင်း ပါရပါတယ်။ တစ်ကျောင်းတည်းမှာ department သုံးခုရွေးတာတော့ မရပါဘူး။ Flow က— Applicant → Embassy → NIIED → Universities → Final ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ University Track University ကို တိုက်ရိုက်လျှောက်တာပါ။ University Track applicant က University ၁ ကျောင်း + Department ၁ ခုပဲ လျှောက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ 2026 University Track မှာ General, R-GKS, Research, R&D, Global Network နဲ့ International Organization စတဲ့ program တွေ ရှိပါတယ်။ စုစုပေါင်း University Track quota က 1,200 ဖြစ်ပြီး GKS-G overall quota က 2,000 scholars ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ R-GKS က Regional University program ဖြစ်တာကြောင့် Type B Universities ကို အဓိကထားပါတယ်။ R&D က Science/Engineering/Technology research-oriented departments တွေကို အဓိကထားတဲ့ specialization ဖြစ်ပြီး 2026 မှာ 403 seats ရှိပါတယ်။ Global Network က international/public policy/development/design/logistics စတဲ့ selected Master’s programs ဖြစ်ပြီး 2026 မှာ 80 seats ရှိပါတယ်။ Myanmar အတွက် quota ဘယ်လောက်ရှိလဲ? ဒီအပိုင်းက GKS-U နဲ့ယှဉ်ရင် GKS-G မှာ opportunity ပိုများပါတယ်။ 2026 Embassy Track General မှာ Myanmar quota 16 ယောက် ရှိပါတယ်။ University Track ရဲ့ country-specific General / R-GKS မှာတော့— Myanmar Quota General 7 R-GKS 36 Total 43 ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် R&D 403 နဲ့ Global Network 80 တို့က worldwide applicant pool ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် သတ်မှတ် program/department ကိုက်ညီရင် ထပ်ပြီးရွေးချယ်စရာတွေရှိပါတယ်။ Korea က University မှာ ဘွဲ့ရထားရင် GKS-G လျှောက်လို့ရလား? ဒီတစ်ချက် သေချာသတိထားပါ။ 2026 guideline အရ Korean university က graduate ဖြစ်သူ သို့မဟုတ် graduate ဖြစ်တော့မယ့်သူက GKS-G ကို generally လျှောက်လို့မရပါဘူး။ Undergraduate နဲ့ Graduate programs နှစ်ခုလုံး သက်ရောက်ပါတယ်။ Korean university online curriculum graduate လည်း restriction ရှိပါတယ်။ Previous Korean-government degree scholarship recipients, former GKS degree/research scholars နဲ့ scholarship cancellation history တချို့လည်း restrictions ရှိပါတယ်။ Embassy Track နဲ့ University Track နှစ်ခုလုံး တစ်ပြိုင်နက်လျှောက်လို့ရလား? မရပါဘူး။ Embassy Track first round pass သွားသူ—reserve candidate အပါအဝင်—University Track ပြန်လျှောက်လို့မရပါဘူး။ University Track မှာလည်း General, R-GKS, Research, R&D, Global Network အစရှိတဲ့ program တွေထဲက တစ်ခုပဲ လျှောက်ရပါတယ်။ Duplicate submission တွေ့ရင် evaluation ကနေ remove လုပ်နိုင်ပြီး နောက်မှတွေ့ရင် scholarship revoke လုပ်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် Embassy first round မအောင်ရင် University Track ကို လျှောက်ဖို့ schedule ကို 2026 မှာ အချိန်ပေးထားပါတယ်။ ဘယ်လိုလျှောက်ရတာလဲ? 2026 မှာ application method က U နဲ့ မတူတဲ့အချက်ရှိပါတယ်။ Embassy Track → Study in Korea website ကနေ Online Application University Track → University သတ်မှတ်ထားတဲ့ပုံစံအတိုင်း in person / post ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Documents ဘာတွေလိုလဲ? Master/PhD applicant တွေအတွက် core documents မှာ Application Form, Personal Statement, Study Plan, ONE Recommendation Letter, GKS Applicant Agreement, Personal Medical Assessment, Consent to Collect and Use Personal Information တို့ပါပါတယ်။ ပြီးရင် citizenship/family relationship proof, Bachelor graduation certificate + transcript လိုပါတယ်။ PhD ဆို Master’s graduation certificate + transcript ကိုပါ ထပ်တင်ရပါတယ်။ TOPIK/TOPIK IBT, TOEFL iBT, IELTS, awards, certificates, passport စတာတွေက relevant/optional documents အနေနဲ့ တင်နိုင်ပါတယ်။ (မရှိလည်းရပါတယ်) Recommendation Letter ကို preferably professor, department head သို့မဟုတ် applicant ရဲ့ academic ability ကို သေချာသိတဲ့ relevant person ကရေးတာ ကောင်းပါတယ်။ Letter date က application deadline မတိုင်ခင် ၁ နှစ်အတွင်း ဖြစ်သင့်ပါတယ်။ Apostille လိုလား? Required Certificates တွေဟာ NIIED stage ရောက်တဲ့အခါ generally Apostille သို့မဟုတ် Consular Confirmation လိုပါတယ်။ English/Korean မဟုတ်တဲ့ documents ဆို certified translation လည်းလိုပါတယ်။ Digital document ဖြစ်လို့ authentication မလိုတော့ဘူးဆိုတာမျိုး မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ Digital-issued required certificate ကိုလည်း authentication လုပ်ရပါတယ်။ NIIED ကိုတင်ပြီးသား application materials တွေကို ပြန်မပေးပါဘူး။ ဒါကြောင့် authenticated graduation certificates ကို copy အများကြီးကြိုပြင်ထားတာ ပိုကောင်းပါတယ်။ TOPIK / IELTS မရှိရင်လျှောက်လို့ရလား? GKS-G general requirement အရ language score document က optional ပါ။ ဒါပေမယ့် university/department တချို့က သူတို့ admission requirement အနေနဲ့ TOPIK/English score တောင်းနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Selection အတွက်တော့ language score က အားသာချက်ကြီးပါတယ်။ 2026 GKS-G မှာ— Score level TOPIK TOEFL iBT IELTS 100% Level 5+ 90% Level 4 114+ 8.0+ 80% Level 3 95+ 7.0+ 70% Level 2 72+ 6.0+ 60% Level 1 42+ 5.0+ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ TOPIK Level 3+ ရှိသူကို additional 10% points ပေးပါတယ်။ Science/Engineering department applicant ဆို additional 5% ရပါတယ်။ Korean War veteran direct descendant qualification ပြည့်ရင် 10% additional points ရပါတယ်။ ဒါကြောင့် TOPIK 3/4/5 ရှိတဲ့ applicant က paper evaluation မှာ တော်တော်အားသာနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Scholarship ရပြီး TOPIK ဘယ်လောက်လိုလဲ? ပုံမှန် Degree scholar က Korean Language Program ပြီး Degree စဖို့ TOPIK Level 3 အနည်းဆုံး လိုပါတယ်။ University/Department တချို့က TOPIK 4 စတဲ့ ပိုမြင့်တဲ့ requirement ရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Application တုန်းက TOPIK Level 5 or 6 ရှိရင် Korean Language Program exemption ရပြီး 2026 cohort အတွက် September 2026 မှာ Degree ကိုတိုက်ရိုက်စနိုင်ပါတယ်။ Language Program ပထမ ၆ လအတွင်း TOPIK 5/6 ရခဲ့ရင် ကျန် ၆ လကို exempt လုပ်ပြီး March 2027 မှာ Degree စရပါတယ်။ Selection မှာ ဘာတွေကြည့်လဲ?
